Santiago de Compostela

After 32 days of walking an average of 18 miles per day we entered Santiago.  The emotions, exhaustion, exhilaration were overwhelming.  The first thing we did was go to the cathedral and attended the Pilgrims Mass.  Santiago is a beautiful city and worth exploring.
There are over 250,000 Camino de Santiago pilgrims and thousands of other visitors that come to Santiago every year. Most people enter the city in July and August, but Santiago is busy throughout the summer and fall seasons of the year. Crowds are less in May, June and September.
